Kate Blackwell QC – Counsel to the Panel
A specialist in criminal and regulatory law, she is a member of Lincoln House Chambers, Manchester.
Kate was called to the Bar in 1992. She was appointed a Crown Court Recorder in 2009 and took silk in 2012. She has prosecuted and defended in many high-profile cases on the Northern Circuit and elsewhere.
Kate presents lectures and seminars in the UK and abroad on all aspects of serious crime, fraud and regulatory crime. This has recently included the UK and international law on bribery, corruption and associated offences.
