The information in these annual financial reports sets out the Panel’s expenditure for the financial years ending on 31 March from 2013-14 through to 2016-17. Each report contains a breakdown of costs in relation to staffing and expenses. It was originally intended to include budgetary information as an annex to the Panel’s report to the Home Secretary. However, given that it is taking longer to produce the report than was first anticipated (see FAQ), the Panel decided to publish the annual accounts on its website as a matter of transparency.
The Home Office and other organisations may have other costs which are met internally and thus are not included with DMIP’s expenditure figures.
